Motion design and film for research teams, clinics and medtech. Since 2024 I have worked with OR-X, the surgical research and training center at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich. For their course website I rebuilt the platform interface in Illustrator and animated it in After Effects, in real 3D.

Software and platforms are rebuilt as real layers and animated in 3D. Never a screen recording with a zoom on it.
The look is agreed first
The storyboard arrives as a live page you open in your browser and watch move. Nothing renders while a question is still open.

Your papers, brochures and experts are the source. Every claim on screen is signed off by your team before it goes out.
A course platform, rebuilt in 3D.
OR-X were launching a new courses website and wanted a film to announce it. There was no Figma and no finished site, only course photographs and flat cut outs of the interface. I redrew every panel in Illustrator and gave the whole film one custom material in Blender: frosted, translucent, lit from inside.
Timo works out what we actually need before he starts, then iterates with us until it is there. What we ended up with was well received by surgeons, industry partners and our board. He thinks with us rather than just executing.

Women in Science Day
A short film for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, made with OR-X for LinkedIn and Instagram. The concept came out of a briefing with them: I helped shape the idea in the room, they filmed it in house, and I did all of the editing and some of the motion design.
